Jane Bramwell -  Book and Lyrics

Jane has always written plays and poems, and in her teenage years won two national poetry prizes. Twenty years ago when she met Michael, he persuaded her that she was writing lyrics, and not poems.  In 2001 Michael and Jane used Jane’s poetry as the basis for their first work together, ‘Longer than it takes to say Goodbye’ which ran at the prestigious Fringe Venue ‘The Kings Head’ in Islington, London.

In 2014 Jane wrote the lyrics for ‘King and Country’, a music drama piece about the First World War which ran at the Brighton Fringe Festival and is scheduled to run in Oxford in 2018.

‘The Real Lewis Carroll’ had a try out in Petworth and then ran for 21 Performances in Oxford in 2016 to Four star reviews.

Her novel, ‘White Birds’, is due for publication in 2017.
